THE THREAD LAB
Weekly or drop-in classes at the studio
Join us for a hands-on fiber art workshop using upcycled textiles. Each week explores a different technique—sewing, embroidery, knotting, or weaving—as you design and create your own unique pieces. Make a wearable bracelet, embroider a landscape, or craft a floral wall hanging. Every session offers a new creative challenge.
All skill levels welcome!
Workshop Length: 2 hours per session
Time: check summer workshops
Location: 1923 8th Avenue, Brooklyn
Cost: $50 to $75 per class. All material included
THE UNRAVELED SOCIETY CIRCLE
Bi-monthly Thursday Craft Nights
The studio transforms into a cozy space for neighborhood makers. Bring your own craft—knitting, embroidery, needlepoint, drawing, sewing—and spend a relaxed evening working alongside others, venting about kids, partners, or life. We’re here to unravel and create. It’s quieter than a bar, more social than staying home, and the peppermint tea is always flowing.
BYOB, bring your own materials, and snacks are welcome!
Time: Two Thursdays per month, 6:30–8:30 PM
Location: 1923 8th Avenue, Brooklyn
Cost: Pay what you wish
PRIVATE WORKSHOPS

Feel free to bring drinks and snacks to make it a party! Up to 12 guests at the studio; offsite events can accommodate larger groups (the biggest so far had 80 guests in a warehouse!).

PRIVATE OR SEMI-PRIVATE SEWING LESSONS
Learn to sew in a relaxed, creative way
Whether you're brand new to sewing or want help with a specific creative project, these sessions are all about exploring and making together. Bring your own machine and I’ll teach you how to use it—or use mine. Projects can include hemming your favorite clothes, making curtains, tote bags, or simply following a creative idea. If you're looking for perfection or formal pattern-making, this might not be the right fit—my teaching style is open, intuitive, and fun. Come solo, with a friend, or with your teen.
