Urns

Elodie Blanchard’s urns are crafted by sewing and layering textiles, mylar balloons, and used clothing, exploring themes of memory and the passage of time. Their organic, often unusual shapes arise naturally from the materials and Elodie’s manipulation. Designed to resemble intricate ceramics, these vessels balance softness with a hardened appearance, embodying fragility and permanence. Each urn is a tactile meditation on life’s rituals and the layered memories they hold.
